A Message from The Principal

Mrs Denise Talbot, Principal

Céad míle fáilte go suíomh gréasáín Scoil Náísúínta Naomh Phól. On behalf of everyone in our school community: pupils, teachers, staff, and members of the Board of Management, I welcome you to our new school website.

St Paul’s National School is a co-educational primary school under Church of Ireland patronage. We operate in accordance with the Education Act 1998 and the Rules for National Schools as determined by the Department of Education and Skills. The school reflects the ethos of the Church of Ireland and values of honesty, charity, kindness, patience and personal responsibility are encouraged. Children of other faiths and none are welcomed and affirmed.

We strive to provide a nurturing, positive, holistic learning experience for every pupil and commit our resources to challenging and empowering each other. It is our philosophy to provide a centre of life learning for our pupils: a safe, happy school where they will receive a well balanced and rounded education, catering for their social, spiritual, religious, physical, creative, intellectual, emotional and moral needs. We recognise that each child is a unique individual.

We believe that working together in partnership with parents is essential in order to equip every child with the necessary skills they will need to succeed in our ever changing world. Parental interest, encouragement and support are warmly welcomed.

Success in our terms means children who are open hearted, open minded and free thinking, who have time to enjoy their childhood but who will be well equipped and eager to make the most of whatever life may have to offer them. If you require any other information about our school please feel free to contact us.
